Rich has a breadth of experience unrivaled in the industry, having composed songs for shows as diverse as Off Mike’s for ESPN, Starting Over for NBC and What’s New Scooby Doo for Warner Bros.

The Emmy Award-winning composer began his music career as band leader and songwriter for the New York-based band Crosswind, but left the east coast for Los Angeles and its plentiful work in film and television. His first focus was as a music supervisor for movies such as Miramax’s In Too Deep, and Paid In Full, and Warner Bros’ Queen of the Damned.

In 2000, Rich became the Vice President of Music for the animated internet network, where he was tasked with hiring composers, attaching celebrity talent, licensing music, negotiating fees and producing music for the network’s shows, in addition to writing many theme songs himself. His tenure at Icebox is credited with dramatically improving the quality of online music by integrating talented film and television composers – who were long established in traditional television – to new media.

Rich currently partners with Gigi Moroni to score, produce and write songs on an incredibly diverse range of projects, including live action and animation, film, TV, video games, online content, plays, recording artist and more. His knack for catchy hooks and production efficiency continues to build his reputation in the industry.
