2nd Annual Spyder Snowfest to take place on Saturday, December 10th WHAT: SPYDER SNOWFEST 2011 WHEN: Saturday, December 10th – Noon – 8 PM WHERE: Pier Avenue – Hermosa Beach, CA Hermosa Beach, CA — Spyder Surfboards is bringing the ski slopes to the beach on Saturday, December 10th. The second annual Spyder Snowfest will drop 60 tons of snow on Pier Avenue, just a block away from the sands of Hermosa Beach. This year “Mount Hermosa” will be even bigger than the inaugural event last year, spanning approximately 120 feet up Pier Avenue down to Hermosa Avenue. The slopes will include a snow covered scaffolding reaching a height of nearly 20 feet along with snowboard rails and fun boxes from Mammoth Mountain.
